I need to find out what state the show is in, if any

It's a disaster. Everyone is cheating on everyone.  All relationships are in limbo. There isn't a stable couple on the show. It's a nightmare.

John is losing his mind and thinks at times it's back in the days of his ex wife leaving him

Jack is out of a job having been fired from Chancellor industries so that the law suit against Jabot can be settled. The guy suing wouldn't settle otherwise.

Victoria  has grown deaf, dumb, blind and stupid and is suddenly Mrs. Molly Homemaker. She reminds me of how women were depicted back in the 1950's and 1960's.

Sharon wants a divorce from Nick

Nick moved back into their house anyway

Both Sharon and Nick are using their kid as a pawn in their relationship. Nick using him to weazle his way back into the home and marital bed.

Sharon and Brad are cheating with each other.  Victoria and Nick don't know this...yet.

Phyllis is pregnant but doesn't know if it's Nick's or Jack's baby

Mac left town to go to New Orleans to be with her father and help him build houses.

Colleen got a job at the Athletic Club as a waitress

Colleen moved into the loft as JT's room mate, but wants more

Brad is all of a sudden under speculation. It seems that for the past 20 years of being on the show he's been hiding a huge secret.... he's not the real Brad Carlton.  Victor hired Paul and JT to investigate Brad as Victor thought him to be an opportunist. During the investigation Paul was shown a picture of "Brad Carlton" from high school, and it's not the one we know. However, the one we know seems to appear in a church baseball photo along with the real Brad Carlton.  Of course to go along with this storyline Brad's personality has suddenly changed to "sinister" and "mysterious".

Victor is losing his mind or something. Making cutout snowflakes and stashing them inside a locked drawer.

Lauren and Michael are pregnant. There is speculation of a spoiler where something will be wrong with the pregnancy. Not sure what.

Michael is still covering for his psychotic mother.

Jack and Gloria and Ashley are working to get released on medical grounds because of his memory and heart problems, which might be strokes.

Christine is back with that storyline

Jill is CEO of Jabot Cosmetics now that Jack has been fired.

Neil and Dru are still having problems.  Neil knows that he isn't the father of Lily, and that Malcom is. Dru blames Lily for Neil finding out and won't talk to her. She's treating her like garbage and hanging up on her etc.

Lily and Daniel both graduated, but Lily got D's.

Ashley and the prosecutor who put her father in jail are  having a romance.

Gloria has been made "fashion consultant" to the models on their shoots by Jill, because she went begging to Jill for a meaningful job.

Apparently Eric Braeden is scheduled to go on vaction in July, so his character will again go on some kind of soul searching quest.

Nikki is once again hooked on pain pills....because she was shot in a botched car jacking attempt.

If by state you mean 50 states it's in Wisconsin.

she is gone this spring but disppeared for a new Plastic surgery...will she be made to look like Lauren ? or someone else that is close an dear to our hearts

No, I heard somewhere that Sheila wasn't returning on Y&R. It said she was going back to Bold & Beautiful. They are going to make her look exactly like Brooke Logan.
