It's been a long wait, and very little news has come out of LucasFilm. Expect them to release 5 more versions of the Star Wars films before we see Young Indy on DVD.

There are rumors that release of this show on DVD will be tied to the release of Indiana Jones 4. While dates of spring 2007 have been mentioned, the latest news we heard about it was last year, and it doesn't seem like Indiana Jones 4 will make it for a release anytime next year.

OMG, that would awesome if they released this show on DVD!!!  I fell in love with Sean Patrick Flanery when I saw him in this show & have closely followed his career ever since.  I hope they do release TYIJC on DVD when the next movie comes out & thankfully, 2007 is just around the corner!!!

Would be excited too. Have seen them on VHS but *yawn* no DVD release yet. I'd have to agree on the milking Star Wars sets...

Will it be the episodes or the condensed movie ones? I really liked it with the introductions with old Indy.

The 1st volume is supposed to have 11 episodes and 12 discs for a cost of over $100.00. That is just ridiculous for only 11 episodes and as much as I would love to get it I can't justify spending that much. It's going to have to either be on a really good sale or I'm going to have to use all my X-Mas $ to get it or something.

The reason they are so expensive is because they produced a crap ton of documentaries (like two or three for every episode) as an educational supplement, the retail on them is like $70 most places, still pretty ridiculous...

Has anyone bought the first box set yet? It's called the Early Years. Is it all the really really young Indy or are there Sean Patrick Flannery episodes in it too?

Volume 1 have 2 eps (two last) with sean patrick flannery. I think it's spring adventure and Love's Sweet Song.

I do not have volume 1 (don't wanna pay to see that little kid) but I do have volume 2 and I'm awaiting volume 3.

The price on Play.com is quite good but I did a bit of searching and found it cheaper on some other websites here in the UK. I got mine for 32 GBP. Can't wait to watch this series once again!

The Early Years set includes the episodes that has Indy (Corey Carrier) at age 10.

Volume one has four movies with 10 year old Indy and 3 with the 20 year old Indy. The set is well worth the price. Considering there is 7- 1.5 hour movies in it. The case is well thought out.
