I know ... I keep checking, I'm hoping things pick up soon. I figure a two week window for people to buy the DVD, fall back in love with the show and get the urge to discuss it.

I'm so happy it's finally out on DVD, now, if only they would release The Adventures of Brisco County Jr this would be the best year ever for releases.

    slightly off-topic, but ...

I wrote that last post yesterday, today I go on tvshowsondvd and they announce the release date for Brisco.

2006 really is the best year for DVD releases!

I was hoping the DVDs would make more of splash too.  Well... I understand that one of the places the show is popular is in Australia... are the DVD's out there?

Oh, but the way I favorite characters are Buck and Ike.  I like the interplay between the characters they were like brothers and I felt it was the most interesting relationship on the show.

The DVDs aren't out in Australia yet, but I ordered mine from Amazon because there was no way I was waiting!

This show would have to be my favourite of all time - something about it just struck a chord with me and I've loved it all this time. All the characters are interesting, but Kid, Lou and Jimmy were always my favourites. In watching the first season I've also got new appreciation for Teaspoon, Buck and Ike.

Bring on seasons 2 and 3... my tapes are near wore out!

I liked the relationship between Lou and Kid too, but I always liked it when Jimmy was kinda getting in the middle of it and making Kid jealous... he's so cute when he's angry... or when he has a black eye

Kid and Lou are adorable but I agree, having Jimmy thrown into the mix made things more interesting. He and Kid were so close, despite the arguments and differences of opinion and backgrounds. I love the fact they were such good friends, and yet could so easily have been the worst of enemies. Especially if the Kid found out to what really happened between Jimmy and Lou.

I have to say, though, green is a colour Kid wore well. ;-)

I would have to agree with you.  Jimmy was awsome.  I recently rewatched season 1 and it was funny watching a Baldwin in the show.  I had forgot about this show till it was announced that it was coming to DVD.

The Kid and Lou   Hey  did they ever tell us the "Kid's" real name.  Nobody ever seemed bother by the fact that he was called Kid..I dont even remember him introducing himself as Kid...I loved the show where they all found out Lou was a girl.  It was funny because all the guys were relieved to find out Kid and Lou were not gay That was the best.

I started out crushing on the Kid but then quickly moved on to Jimmy, but I also thought Buck was pretty hot.  I liked all of the original cast members but Jimmy was my favorite.

I met Travis Fine (Ike) back in 1994 and if they had allowed Ike to have hair, I think he would've had a bigger female fan base because Travis is quite handsome with a full head of hair.  When I told him I cried when Ike died, he smiled and said he got a lot of fan mail saying that.  The show just wasn't the same without him
