I generally don't spend much time reviewing children's shows, but I stumbled upon this one at random on a lazy Sunday afternoon and was absolutely amazed at what I saw. A highly detailed and very accurate lesson about stellar formation and evolution, and the mechanics behind it...in language that a six to nine year old kid would easily understand. The late Dr. Carl Sagan would have been amazed and proud of this show! I've been an armature astronomer since the age of twelve myself and a member of The Planetary Society for 30 years, and this show had me shaking my head in wonder. If I had kids, I'd make sure Zula Patrol was part of their T.V. viewing diet. The Qubo Network consistently puts out quality children's entertainment as good as and in many cases, much better than anything PBS has to offer.moreless
