  • Bronson hooks up with a painter who paints a nude on the side of a barn

An episode that mixes moods nicely, as bronson meets and works with a bibulous mexican painter. what starts as the mere painting of a barn red turns into a scandal, as Jim's partner, Juan Longorio, paints a nude, refusing to content himself with just a bucket of red paint. Though some of the comedy is a tad broad; the yokels are a bit over-yokelly, the art dealer who wants to buy the barn is more than a little exaggerated, and Juan is suffering from an excess of joie de vivre, it all holds together nicely. Though one could do without the gratuitous quoting from St Augustine and discussions of Zapata with a wise old man, it's worth putting up with these monetary flaws for what is, overall, a fun episode.
