On Sunday, July 26, 2009, Diane Schuler left a campground in upstate New York where she was vacationing with her family and went towards her home in Long Island. She was driving with five young children: her son, her daughter and three nieces. Four hours into the drive, she drove the wrong way on the Taconic State Parkway for almost two miles, crashing into an oncoming SUV, killing herself and seven others. It is deemed one of the worst accidents in New York history and Diane's actions were put under a microscope as a result. Find out more about what was going on that day and what led to the horrific crash.
