My roommate and I discovered this in College, and it was the only reason for us to drag our butts out of bed on Sunday morning. The wise programmers of our local ABC affiliate in Philadelphia had this show on on Sunday mornings at 9:00.
I initially started watching it one day as I was flipping through the channels, because I recognized Dean Cameron ("Chainsaw" from "Summer School.") I can't believe nobody knows about this show, and that is sad - it is a teriffic satire of american life, and also pokes fun at alien shows. Highly Underrated!!! THEY CAME FROM OUTER SPACE, a one-hour SF adventure show tells the story of two teenage aliens, Abe (Stuart Fratkin) and Bo (Dean Cameron), who are driving through United States in a red sports car, looking for adventures, chicks, fun and to learn more about life on Earth. While they are enjoying themselves, the two aliens will be pursued by a pair of bumbling U.S. Government soldiers, who want to use them for research.
The show aired in syndication. 20 episodes were produced and aired.
