Bosco's manic pursuit of a bank robbery suspect almost causes him to suffer an emotional breakdown. His stubborn insistence on ignoring the mounting symptoms and discounting his past traumas jeopardize his career and his life--along with the lives of everyone with whom he comes into contact. Yokas tries to disregard Bosco's problems long enough to study for the sergeant's examination. Meanwhile, Carlos is overwhelmed with compassion for a newborn baby. Although he is not sure whether or not he is the father, he delays any legal procedure that would remove the child from him.
