Will they ever add anything other than straights and curves (say a hill/ramp)? I like the wooden stuff but way too expensive. Even if you augment with tracks from other vendors, the Wooden Railway trains are still too pricey compared to Takealong.

    They still need:

    Mighty Mac
    Rheneas
    Sir Handel
    Peter Sam
    Duke
    Bertram
    Proteus
    Smudger
    Daisy
    Boco
    Oliver
    Toad
    The Diesel
    Stepney
    Scruffey
    Old Slow Coach
    Derek
    NW Spiteful Bravevan

Not to mention several unaired characters, if they intend to be like their more well-known Wooden Railway System.

That's because they would need 2-way magnets for Mighty Mac, which is what they have for Take-Alongs. It's possible that they'll do with Mighty Mac what was done with Old Slow Coach: Wait 7 years or so after the debut, then release him. Besides, they could make a battery-powered Mighty Mac with no magnets.

I have a feeling D199 will be made eventually, but Bear, seeing as he's not in the TWR System either, might not be so fortunate.

I do hope they make a D199 or D7101. They need more attention.

I almost have the whole collection.  I'm still missing the zoo cars, all of the metallic engines, and the silver Thomas.   And as much as I would love to see Oliver as a take along, I don't think they will make him.  He is not as popular as he used to be, and they've already discontinued Duck.

However, with Oliver's re-introduction to the TWR, he has a (slight) chance.
