EDIT
Thomas' Train
AIRED:
Thomas wants to pull a train instead of just shunting coaches for the big engines, who laugh and say he wouldn't be able to do it. One night Henry is ill, and next morning he still isn't better. He is due to pull the morning train, and when no other engine is available, Thomas has to pull the train. He is so excited, he doesn't notice until too late that he has started before being coupled to the train, leaving his coaches and passengers left stranded at the platform!moreless

  • Thomas's impatience gets the best of him.

    8.5
Thomas wants to pull a passenger train for once, and despite the doubt of the other engines, he gets the opportunity when Henry falls ill. But he performs one of the most embarrassing acts experienced by any engine in the series when he forgets the coaches. I want to know why his own drivers didn't notice anything. He is forgiven by the passengers but made fun of by the other bigger engines. You think he'll get to pull coaches anytime soon?moreless
  • Thomas wants to pull his own passenger train, and jumps at the first chance he gets. But his impatience soon gets the better of him...

    8.0
"You're sure to leave something behind." The big engines don't cut Thomas any slack in one of the little engine's earliest big roles. Although this one isn't as fast-paced and fun as some of the other Season one episodes, it still manages to succeed. This one is centered quite a bit around plot and a moral. This may not seem effective at first, but Thomas childlike demeanor, and the little bit of comedy thrown in there (forgetting the coaches of a passenger train), help it a great deal. The ending is also patterned around doing better next time, a fine message for such an early episode. A fine example.moreless
  • First episode that focuses on our Number One!

This episode was very funny. Thomas' personality is on form, like the impatient tank engine we love, and also it is the first sign of the illness that Henry had, which I would come back to later. Also, this is the first time Thomas leaves something behind! It sets a world record for him!moreless
  • Pretty good.

    9.7
I like this episode a little bit though. I have watched it a lot of times. It got some more texture to it too. I think that they should have redone a few good scenes. Stupid Thomas leaves someone behind because of impatience. They do this episode too much in the future, so you should expect a few episodes get low ratings. But overall the of my score, I give it 9.7. I am thinking about doing the review to be edited for more information. Well, that is all for this review for now, so keep your eyes peeled for the rest of my reviews.moreless
