I tried to watch it, honestly, I tried. The jerky camera work had me averting my eyes so much, that it was basically an audio-only show.
The motorcycle accident prelude was so bad, I just fast forwarded past the ugly camera work.
It's the 21st century, and we have pristine HDTV. But somebody has persuaded the industry that shaky cam, jump cuts, and jitter is "Dramatic".
Let me disabuse that notion. It is NOT ENTERTAINING.
I cannot recommend this show, its director, camera work, or editing.
I watch shows to be entertained, not annoyed. This episode could have been enjoyable, if it was visually better.
I know we can't blame the cameras because STEADY CAM would not deliberately jerk the image. It takes a real professional to foul up the image.
Bad TV.
Bad TV.
Bad TV.
