GOOF: When Mr. Furley faints after seeing Jack's tattoo, it looks like someone caught him and is putting him down slowly.
Furley: (thinking Jack had a baby) Mother's Day will never be the same.
Eleanor Mondale, who played Dr. Fairmont, is the daughter of Walter Mondale, 42nd Vice President of the United States.
When Jack is all doped up in the hospital, he starts singing "As Time Goes By", a song made famous in the film Casablanca. Immediately following this he says to Janet "here's looking at you, sweetheart" which is another Casablanca reference where Humphrey Bogart's character says "here's looking at you, kid".
