Ramsey makes out with a prostitute when an infectee enters and murders the prostitute. The red team investigates right away and they find out that the prostitute is exposed to the alien virus. It turns out that the infected killer is a vigilante. The red team tracks down the vigilante alien and Molly becomes a target, but she informs him about what she does for a living making him an ally. This episode does something different, the vigilante is sort of the villain but at the same time a good guy. It's an exciting episode, I really enjoyed watching this episode.moreless
  • this show for me has gone from good to bad

    8.7
in this episode we see the introduction of a vigilanty, with all the hight tech gear and weapons, they let one half alien doctor do the part of the heroe, i still do not get all the idea of the aliens plan. I Hope that in the last episode we see some more info sent to us so we can understand. Also the writers do not finish too make a love scene with the lady and the military guymoreless
  • Another great episode. Bring it back already.

The show was good, answered a couple questions and furthered the story more. Unlike other shows that haven't been canceled Threshold almost always progresses the storyline rather than just put out filler episodes. People die, back stories grow, and the infection mutates or finds new means. The show is original in a lot of ways, too bad it was canceled.

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • When Ramsey hits Sloan with the lamp, the lamp shatters into many pieces. However, when Sloan shoves Ramsey away in the next shot, Ramsey is still holding the intact lamp.

    • Fenway gives Molly a bad time about having "killed" Adams. Although she started to give him the fatal injection, it was Ramsey who actually did it.

  • QUOTES (9)

    • Ramsey: (getting out of bed to answer the door) Must be one of Caffrey's goons.
Prostitute: Caffrey? Is that your wife?
      Ramsey: Hah! She wishes!

    • Lucas: Hey, I've been meaning to ask you about that infectee you slept with.
Ramsey: What do you want to know?
      Lucas: You know...
      Ramsey: How was it?
      Lucas: Yeah, enhanced strength, stamina?
Ramsey: Look, as much as I hate to admit it, but... it was amazing... yeah, I can't stop thinking about it.
      Lucas: Really?
Ramsey: I don't think I can go back to earth girls.
      Lucas: Wow!
Ramsey: The only bad part is I got this rash in the form of a fractal pattern (he begins to unzip his pants)
Lucas: Oh, unbelievable. Just get away from me.

    • Cavennaugh: These receipts were in Sloan's car.
Molly: Beretta semi-automatic, M4, combat shotgun...
Cavennaugh: He bought them two days ago at a gun shop in Berwyn Heights. Whatever he's planning, a scalpel won't cut it.

    • (Threshold inspects an infected doctor's house)
Molly: Doctors Without Borders. Very humanitarian.
      Cavennaugh: When he was human.

    • (someone is killing infectees)
Fenway: Could be a blessing in disguise. He's doing our job for us.
Molly: It's not our job to murder infectees.
Fenway: We've killed plenty so far and it's never bothered you.

    • (an infectee stripper has been killed)
Ramsey: She worked at a place called "Beneath the Beltway." It's over at Wisconsin.
      Molly: Nude dancing? No cover?
      Ramsey: What, you've been there?
Molly: Sure, on amateur night. I had to pick up a little cash on the side.
      Ramsey: Really?
Molly: You know for a genius, you're not very smart.

    • Ramsey: Of all the girls in the strip clubs in the tri-state area, I had to sleep with an infectee.
Lucas: Dude count your blessings, you tested clean.
Ramsey: Still the only thing between me and alienhood was millimetre of latex.

    • Molly: What are the chances an alien walked into that room and killed that girl?
Fenway: Ask Ramsey. He's the mathematician.

    • Cavennaugh: So this is what the Fortress of Solitude looks like.
      Molly: That's right, Lois.

  • NOTES (3)

  • ALLUSIONS (3)

    • Molly: "Doctors Without Borders." Very humanitarian.

Doctors Without Borders (officially known as Médecins Sans Frontières) is a secular humanitarian-aid non-governmental organization best known for its projects in war-torn regions and developing countries facing endemic disease.

    • Ramsey: maybe this wacko is solving our "ET" problem.

ET stands for extra terrestrial, and is an allusion to the 1982 film ET about an alien who visited Earth.

    • Cavennaugh: So this is what the Fortress of Solitude looks like.
      Molly: That's right, Lois.

Cavennaugh and Caffrey are referring to Superman and the Fortress of Solitude where Superman goes to either be alone or talk to his father, Jor-El. Lois Lane is Clark Kent's (Superman's alter-ego) love.
