A man overhears a kidnapping plan. The bad guys catch him eavesdropping. What to do? If he interferes he will be killed. But can he just sit on the fence while a woman is kidnapped and possibly killed?
This was a pretty good episode. Too often Thriller's hours feel padded. But here the pacing was spot on. There was always something happening as the situation spiraled out of control. Mort Sahl had a nice shlub quality that was a break from your typical lantern-jawed leading man. I empathized with him as a guy that is out of his depth and just trying his best to do the right thing. And there's a fun pre-Hogan's Heroes appearance by Werner Klemperer.
