Faded, forgotten actress Rose French is excited to have a new job, though she's playing coy about it to her friends. She suddenly dies of natural causes, but her ex-husband is not convinced. What was she doing sitting in a stranger's yard?

Of these first few episodes, this one is easily the best. For the first half hour we know something is off-kilter, but we don't know what exactly.

Of course, once we know what is going on, it is a little bit of a disappointment. But still, the story is interesting and the pacing is good. If the second half doesn't quite measure up, it's at least balanced by the very strong beginning.moreless

    • Dalloway (in the garden where Rose died): It's so lonely here. You'd think no one was here. Frank: They probably keep this end of the house closed-up. Dalloway: Oh, no. She should never have died like this...not Rose. She should've been surrounded by people. Edit
    • Annie: Rose, you've got company. Now, don't come out unless you're dressed. Rose (walking out from the bathroom): Why not? I've kept my figure! Edit
