A naive crime melodrama, Cesare Romano, a man with a heart condition, heads up some sort of crime syndicate that isn't quite like the mafia. He's been working for years to make his organization a legitimate one. This doesn't sit well with Harry Ganns, another big shot in the organization.
There's also Cesare's brother, a doctor who loathes his criminal brother and Cesare's lawyer, who has been a stalwart friend since childhood (who becomes the focus of the story).
If all of this doesn't sound very thrilling, that's because it isn't. This actually wasn't a bad little story. The over the top Italian accent used by the kids in the beginning were fun. It passed the time well enough. But it certainly wasn't much of a Thriller.
