AIRED:
While coming to the aid of an escaped slave, Thundarr's group is captured by robots commanded by the evil wizard of a thousand eyes Lord Argoth, and are brought to his citadel to be his slaves as well. But he wants Ariel as his bride. Thundarr and Ookla must get themselves free, rescue Ariel, and get the slaves to freedom. They must then journey through the Forbidden Jungle, which is treacherous as the region has various dangerous creatures and drains the magic of any sorcerer or wizard.moreless

    • TRIVIA (3)

      • Goof: Thundarr's sunsword was confiscated after he was defeated by the robots early in the episode. But the hilt could be seen on his wristpack in the sequence he and Ookla battle to free themselves from Argoth's guards.

      • Goof: When Thundarr rescues two of the former slaves from sinking in the tarpit, the closeup shot shows one of them with a scarf when he had none before and the other a completely different man as he was first seen as dark-haired with a blue outfit, but then as bald and brown-haired with a beard and a beige outfit afterward.

      • Goof: After he defeats the giant Cyclops, when Thundarr approaches Ariel and Ookla, the latter's mane is briefly the same color as his fur before changing back to its normal lighter shade of tan.

    • QUOTES (2)

      • (After Thundarr and Ookla are imprisoned with Olan)
Slave #1: So, Olan has returned to us.
Slave #2: Reckless fool! There is no escape from a wizard's citadel.
Thundarr: You are wrong! Ookla and I once escaped a citadel as fearsome as this one. And we'll do it again. All of us--and Ariel!

      • (After Thundarr rescues Ariel and defeats the giant Cyclops)
Thundarr: Farewell, One-eye! (to Ariel) You are unharmed?
Ariel: I had a soft landing, thanks to Ookla. (who happily growls giving himself kudos for having her land on him)
Thundarr: Then back to the jungle...to lead the humans to freedom!
