Thundarr's group capture one of Korb's mutants so he can tell the truth to the village to prove Throac's innocence, but not before they have to journey through the treacherous swamp, battle a number of creatures, and survive against Artemus' Death Ship.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • Goof: When Ariel captures one of Korb's mutants with her magic, he has gray fur and is wearing a uniform tunic. But from the point when Ookla holds him as Thundarr battles the giant swamp worm, the mutant has brown fur and no tunic. After the battle and the group departs, the mutant is back to being gray-furred with the tunic again. Then, when they present him to the village to confess Artemus and Korb's conspiracy, the first shot of Ookla holding him with his back turned shows him gray-furred. But when he speaks, his fur is colored brown again.

    • Goof: When one of the villagers picks Korb up after Thundarr causes him to crash on the ground, his light green outfit becomes a darker shade of the color.

  • QUOTES (3)

    • (When Artemus uses his magic to attack Thundarr and Ariel from behind, causing the latter to fall into a pit with Ookla)
Artemus: Child's play! (Approaches Thundarr thinking he's unconscious)
Thundarr: (Having fooled Artemus by playing possum, he quickly draws his sunsword) This child plays rough, wizard!

    • (On the boat)
Thundarr: Give us more speed, Ariel. We must reach Lanta by dawn.
Ariel: You'll have to speak to the captain.
      Thundarr: Ookla, faster!
(Ookla steps too hard on the gas pedal, then loses control of the steering wheel, rips it off, and tosses it away, causing the boat to crash on land. He then grumbles about his poor boating skills)
Ariel: That's the last time you do the driving!

    • (The final scene)
Villager: Stay, Thundarr. Be our new sheriff. (Hands him the star)
Thundarr: I...think not. Let Thorac wear the star. (Pins it on his outfit and the villagers cheer)
Ariel: For a barbarian, he sure knows how to work a crowd. (Ookla grunts in agreement)
Thundarr: Ariel, Ookla...AWAYYYY!!! (The group rides off)
