    • NOTES (7)

      • The Empire State Building can be seen standing in the stock footage of New York. Either it was quickly rebuilt or this episode precedes Terror in New York City. Fans prefer to go for the former as real-life footage of it is shown as Skyship One flies over the city in Thunderbird 6.

      • The Hood wearing his Martian Invasion disguise can be seen standing behind Jeff at the London Air Show.

      • The Domo is an adapted version of the Excavator (Martian Invasion)

      • Wilbur Dandridge and Chandler also appear as Warren Grafton and Harry Malloy in Brink of Disaster, filmed immediately after The Duchess Assignment. Puppets at the casino include Williams (Cry Wolf), what looks like Commander Norman and Lord Silton and Lovegrove (Vault of Death). Lil, Lady Penelope's cook (Vault of Death) certainly gets around. She can be seen at the casino at the Duchess' roulette table at the beginning and end of the episode and later at the art gallery, admiring the Duchess' painting. Sir Arthur (Danger at Ocean Deep) can be seen in both the casino and the London Airport Lounge.

      • Gordon, Brains and Kyrano don't appear in this episode.

      • There is yet another use of a hand in the same shot as a puppet (see 30 Minutes After Noon and The Man From MI.5) as Parker pulls a gun on the crooked casino owner.

      • The Duchess of Royston is based on distinguished British actress Dame Edith Evans. Ray Barrett wonderfully provides her voice, also based on Evans.
