Goof: While Jeff has always insisted on utmost secrecy for the organization, such as using "Operation Coverup" to hide their identities from a visiting doctor in the first episode, he inexplicably told Nicky their real names, since Nicky calls him "Mr. Tracy" several times in the first scene and the team freely calls each other by their real names in Nicky's presence. Nicky also now knows much critical information about International Rescue, including how their base is disguised, how many people are in the organization and exactly what the Thunderbird vehicles look like and how they're launched, making Nicky potentially a massive security risk especially since his own identity as the contest winner was probably released to the press.
There are no rescues in this episode.
Following what is said in notes, Christmas Day in 2067 will be a Sunday. However, Tin-Tin tears a page off a calendar dated 2026 but Christmas Day will be a Friday in 2026. The 2026/2065 debate has continued for many years.

Lady Penelope was very insistant on helping the road accident victim at the possible expense of the mission, but in "Vault of Death" while under similar circumstances, she showed no thought at all for the driver she herself rammed off the road.
When Parker pours Penelope a glass of sherry, the close ups of his human hand show he places the glass directly onto the table, but the wider shots of the puppets show the glass on Penelope's placemat with no time for it to have moved.
