Show Summary

Thunderbox is a sport and entertainment TV show that combines live boxing with live musical acts for young sports fans. Each episode includes a boxing match between veteran and up-and-coming fighters with rap and rock musicians playing live in-between rounds. TV personality Riki Rachtman joins female boxer Lucia Rijker to host the show with actor, Godfrey, as the referee. Before each fight, the boxer chooses from a handful of beautiful female managers that include actresses Michelle Russo, Neriah Davis, and Janine Lindemulder. The season opens with a match between Maurice "Sugar Moe" Harris and Gerald Nobles, a former heavyweight champion. Musical guest, Wyclef Jean, raps songs from his upcoming album, The Ecleftic, after each round. DJ Master P, rock band, Dragon, rapper Fat Joe and southern rockers, Pimpadelic, also play on Thunderbox later in the season. The show only allows heavyweight fights, and each boxer who wins their match, advances to the Thunderbox championship tournament. By the end of the season, viewers get to see fights between former heavyweight prize fighters Derrick Jefferson, Ray Austin, Isreal Garcia and Tim Witherspoon.
