I love them all.  The ThunderKittens were my favorite when I was a kid.  Now I'd have to say that Tygra is my all time favorite.  I just love his maturity and integrity and his voice!  Oh I so love Tygra's voice!  By far my favorite souding voice of any cartoon character ever!  And he is cute for a cartoon character!

I always assumed that Jaga rigged Lion-O's suspension capsule for him to age.  It was Jaga who made the comment that though the suspension capsules slowed the aging, some aging did occur.  I get the feeling that in truth, the suspension capsules probably stopped the aging process but Jaga said that so that Lion-O wouldn't be completely caught off guard when he awoke in an adult's body.  That Jaga could be sneaky.

as a kid, I LOVED Lion-O.  My Lion-O action figure lost its right arm due to excessive handling.

But now, Lynx-O is my favorite.  I mean, he's blind, but he can fly a ship?  Sweet.

You know that's funny, my Lion-O's arm broke off too!  None of my other figures had that happen and I also had Tygra, Cheetarah, Panthro, and Vultureman in the same size toy.  Wilykit and Wilykat were rather lame becasue they couldn't move and their feet were stuck on a little piece of plastic.  But my Wilykit's free hand also broke off.

There must have been a manufacturing defect in Lion-O.

Lion O was also my favorite, mostly because well he was the leader and had that sword which was ultimate cool. Afterall Lion O was the person the show was mainly focused on. I also had a Lion action figure, but I don't think it ever broke despite the abuse I gave it. I also had Panthro, Kat and Tygra. Those were the days.

I haven't made it to the episodes with the new ThunderCats yet, and my childhood memories from when i first saw them are too blurry. Of the original team, my favourites are Panthro and WilyKit. I love their individual styles, and Kit is quite cute to boot. When i was a kid, Panthro was the idol i wanted to be like, and WilyKit the one i wanted to be with. Hmm, that wasn't very pragmatic of me, now that i think of it. :=P

Lion-O's cryo cell had a flaw, so it slowed his aging {otherwise he'd die and decompose long before they reached Third Earth}, but didn't entirely stop it, like it did for the others. In other words - blame it on Tigra. He was prolly the one in charge of building the ship. :=P

I blame it on Jaga, he seemed to know Lion-O would age.  Tygra's not going to make a mistake like that.  Unless perhaps Jaga put him up to it.  Hmm...

If I had to make an educated guess I'd say that Lion'O's cell malfunctioned and he aged almost normaly, as if the age slowing process was reduced. anyway bac to the topic,

Panthro is my second favorite, because of his combination of strength, intelligence and martial arts skills. He has the total package of an excellent hero.

Cheetara gets my vote hands down. She was a very sexy character. I loved her so much.

Heh, yeah, Chee has that whole "Liberated Woman" thing going on, which was obviously intentional, seeig as it was the american 80ies. And i think Lion-O had a thing for her, oratleast she thought he did.

My favorate Thundercat is Lion-O.  I just always can easily identify and emphise with his character.  He always had this naive quality to him and an undying determination to become the hero he always wants to be and that's easy to understand.

Runner Up is Panthro, since the guy is a martial artist which was always one of the coolest qualities about him, let alone the nunchkus he used which were a cool weapon.  And also he had not just physical strength but mental strength since he is a scientist/engineer.

I was really young when I saw The Thundercats on TV. I dreamed that I could play with Willykit and -kat. But my favorite was Lion-O. He was my hero.
