After Lion-O leaves Cats Lair to begin the Anointment Trials, the Sword of Omens is returned to its pedestal. From there the other ThunderCats will know if Lion-O passed the day's trial when the sword growls.
The ThunderCat's must each give Lion-O their Eye of Thundera insignia when he passes their trial. He adds theirs to his own on his belt.
Panthro informs Lion-O that it is forbidden for any of the ThunderCats to help Lion-O in any way during the Anointment Trials.
When climbing a tree, Lion-O said the trunk was slippery. He climbed up several feet before he made the claim that he couldn't get a grip and fell off. Clearly he did have a grip for awhile.
Lion-O had to go through the Anointment trials without the Sword of Omens or Claw Shield.
According to Lion-O, ThunderCats are always up and out of bed at first light.
Panthro: You're stronger than I am.
Lion-O: I'd hate to put that to the test when you've recovered, Panthro.
(While fighting)
Panthro: You're very... strong, Lion-O.
Lion-O: Because... of you, Panthro.
Lion-O: I have to fight you, Panthro?
Panthro: Yes.
Lion-O: I can't. And I won't.
Panthro: You must, Lion-O. It's the Code of the ThunderCats.
Lion-O: Then it's a stupid code.
Panthro: No. The Code has served us well for centuries.
Tygra: As lord protectors of the young Lion-O, it was our duty to prepare him for this day. If Lion-O fails the trials, we have failed.
Panthro: Today Lion-O has come of age.
Tygra: Every Lord of the ThunderCats had to survive the trials.
Wilykit: We know, but that was on Thundera.
Tygra: The Code of Thundera, justice, truth, honor, loyalty, is needed here on Third Earth just as much as it was on Thundera.
Panthro: Third Earth needs it even more.
Mumm-Ra and the Mutants do not appear in this episode.
The Great Void is a spirit of the forests. When its domain is threatened, it will use its smoky ghostlike arms, to draw you inside of its body and absorb power from its victims.
