Although Bushy is referred to as a Spider, he only has six legs instead of an arachnid's usual eight.
Claw Shield: (First Use) Can release a long chain for climbing.
Tygra can hold his breath for a long time. This was demonstrated by his swim in the moat where he had an underwater battle with Slithe and went into the drought pipe. All without reemerging for air.
When Lion-O called Bushy a he, Bushy got upset. Lion-O tried she before settling on calling Bushy an it. At the end of the episode, however, Willa called Bushy a he.
The Mutants introduced a new torture device, the 4 Winds. It has four spring loaded catapults that will pull a person's four limbs apart.
The water in the moat surrounding Castle Plun-Darr is infused with phosphor ore which enables the Mutant scanners to see if anyone is in the water.
(Watching Castle Plun-Darr burn)
Lion-O: Slithe said he would start a fire, that will burn like a beacon. He got his wish.
Panthro: What's this? A hairy baseball? (Bushy opens up in his hand. He shouts and falls over as Willa catches Bushy.) I hate spiders!
Willa: Now you've hurt Bushy's feelings. He likes you.
(In the ThunderTank)
Panthro: Elevation 64-niner. Range 2--2 fiver.
Snarf: Now, let's see. Uh, that would mean converting the six... Doubling eight, and reducing... Oh, oh... And the six into...
Panthro: (tapping his fingers impatiently) Fire!
Lion-O: I didn't sleep, Snarf. I'm worried about Tygra.
Snarf: Ah, snarf! Tygra's capable of taking care of himself, don't you think?
Lion-O: Snarf, a friend is someone who worries about you, who cares. I'd feel terrible if I didn't obey my instincts and something bad happened to Tygra.
(To Tygra who is strapped into the 4 Winds)
Slithe: To show you we're not all that crude, think about this. When the first rays of the sun strike this solar mirror, it will trigger the catapults. (laughs) Yes, it looks like it's going to be a bright, sunny day. (laughs)
Slithe: Well, open the can, and let's see what kind of fish we've caught. Yesss? (A tube is dropped and opened to reveal Tygra in a cylindar cage.) It looks suspiciously like a ThunderCat-fish.
Willa: I've been chasing shadows all day since the bombardment. Our world has changed since you and the Mutants arrived.
Tygra: We are your friends.
Willa: Yes, but we Warrior Women are caught in the middle of your battles with the Mutants, and we are being destroyed.
Bushy is Willa's pet Giant Treetop Spider. It is capable of spinning string as strong as Lion-O's claw shield lines and pulling extremely heavy weights with it.
First Appearance: Bushy
