Thursday Night Baseball gave us a surprisingly good game here tonight between the Florida Marlins and the Philadelphia Phillies. If you were told at the beginning of the season that the Phillies would host the Marlins, and they would have Roy Halladay on the mound, who would you pick to win? Exactly.
But the Marlins got the W after a hard-fought battle and Josh Johnson got the shutout victory over the team from Pennsylvania. Maybe the Marlins have some life left in them. As for the Phillies, their slump continues. Hopefully it will continue when they play the Red Sox this weekend!moreless
