While most sports fans may have been talking about LeBron James returning to Cleveland for the first time since joining up with the Miami Heat tonight, there was a good football game between two teams who both needed the win. The Eagles needed to win to keep pace atop the NFC East, and the Houston Texans could have been right in their division's race with a win here.

The Texans are in a funk right now, and all the hype from last year with people saying this would be their season, I guess they are going to have to wait until next year for that.moreless

    • (on Michael Vick)
Houston Coach Gary Kubiak: This young man is playing as good as anybody I've seen play in the NFL and I've been doing it for a while. He's special and we just tried to contain him, but obviously he still had a big night. He's been doing it against a lot of people. ... We had a couple of chances for turnovers. He gave us a couple of opportunities that we just didn't take advantage of.

    • Philadelphia Quarterback Michael Vick: I'm used to taking hits. It's not that bad. If I take one and I lay down, then I took a good one. But I'm a pretty tough guy. I bounce back when I can. There's no science to getting hit, or protecting yourself.

    • Houston Quarterback Matt Schaub: They are a good team and this is a tough place to play. We had a good plan, we kept fighting back. It just wasn't enough in crunch time to do it.
