  • Kenny and Joy become friends.

    8.0
This was an old school King of Queens episode from Eddie's friend becoming friends with Joy to Eddie inviting the deliveryman in (something KOQ has actually done). There were some funny lines from both JB Smoove and Brad Garrett. I especially liked the line about Eddie complaining about how of all his faults in bed she's picking his lack of interest in her dreams. The deliveryman was also great when he said, "What the hell is going on?"

After some lackluster opening episodes Til Death seems to be back on track here. Let's hope the rest of Season 3 is as good as this.moreless

Kenny: Uhm-hmm. So you were fake-listening when I opened my heart up and told you my childhood dream?
      Eddie: What dream?
Kenny: To be the first black man to walk on the moon. And copyright the term afro-naut.

    • Eddie: You're still upset about last night?
      Joy: Yeah.
Eddie: Of all the ways I've disappointed you in bed this is the one you're holding onto?

    • Eddie: And the electronic signing board. Beam me up, Scotty! You know what I'm sayin'?

"Beam me up, Scotty" is the catch-phrase popularized by Captain Kirk of the sci-fi TV series Star Trek.

    • Eddie: So you're popping out the old John Hancock, huh?

John Hancock is famous for having the most recognizable signature among the 56 signers on the United States Declaration of Independence.

    • The title of this episode is an allusion to the movie Dreamgirls.
