- The "Dewey Beach" Doug mentions is likely Dewey Beach, Delaware. It is also possible the concert he references is the Dewey Beach Music Conference which has taken place the last weekend of September since 2002. There isn't a lot more that goes on there during the school year; while tens of thousands of people daily throng to the little beach town during the summer, the winter population is only about 300!
