  • Wheres the Woodcocks?

Why oh why did they get rid of Geoff & Steph. The 4 characters is what the series was about, their interaction. Also they were very funny, especially Steph. The new Kenny character is just irritating and a clique of all Black characters gone by and his girlfriend they have introduced is as bad. This episode just didn't do anything for me. Joley looked like she was overacting to compensate for the lack of the other two. There were some funny bits but not enough

Unless they realize their mistake and bring the Woodcocks back from where ever they were suppose to have gone, I'm afraid i think season 3 will be the last. I loved series 1 & 2. SE03.01 just not up to scratch.moreless
  • No More Eddie Kaye Thomas and Kat Foster, No More Me

In a cast change rivaling the Great Gizoo on the Flintstones, we see the permanent addition of JB Smoove and unexplained absence of 50% of the original cast members. Now it's a completely different type of cookie-cutter sitcom and not for the better. I'll grant that JB Smoove is a funny guy but this isn't the sitcom I started watching in the first year and I saw no reason in last night's episode to continue watching this formerly favourite series of mine. If you can't make a go of it without the original tone and themes of the original concept, why bother? I'll consider this a new series and I saw no reason to watch past its first episode. Gone by Christmas...moreless
  • Joy can't flash her way out of a speeding ticket, so she immediately goes into crisis mode that she is losing her looks.

The best part of this show was the chemistry between Eddie and Joy, and the comparison of their marriage vs. that of the young newlywed Woodcocks next store. Now the Woodcocks have been replaced by JJ Walker-esque Kenny and his small disposable dog Beyonce? I don't get it. Why do writers enjoy taking a good show and adding new and meaningless characters? Dear writers: Go back to what works. Have Kenny killed off (his dog too) and bring back the Woodcocks before you ruin what was the best comedy Fox had. The chemistry is still there, but without the right supporting characters, it fizzles.moreless
  • Joy gets a speeding ticket.

Til' Death returned and delivered one of its worst episodes at the same time. The storyline resembled that of one of the weaker Carrie-centric episodes of a later run King of Queens. Brad Garrett has diminished immensely from his Everybody Loves Raymond days and the female characters are unbearable. JB Smoove is the only thing exciting about this show as of right now. Eddie Kaye Thomas did not even appear in this installment, which I don't understand as he was once a vital part of Til Death's formula.

Til' Death was lucky to survive last year, but if things don't improve there is no chance of Season 4 for Eddie Stark.moreless
