  • Another great episode.

    8.8
Every since the days of Everybody Loves Raymond I have been a fan of Brad Garrett. In Til Death he has just picked up where he left off. Every episode inlcuding this one I think have been great. I was laughing pretty hard when Eddie is in the pool with the black dolphin. I do like the addition this of Kenny but I think it has taken some away from Woodcock. He was barely in this episode and I wonder if his role is decreasing more and more each week. All in all another great episode to a great comedy series. If you have not watched this show at all I would recommend it.moreless
  • Eddie and Joy decide not to celebrate their anniversary.

    6.8
'Til Death will be coming back for a third season, but unless the episodes start getting stronger, the fans might not be.

The show once produced quality every week, but this episode, like many of the past few weeks, just seemed to drag on for too long. There were many plotholes and odd moments this week. JB Smoove, who you can rely on for laughs every episode, seemed very off this week. His lines seemed scripted and unnatural.

Eddie still said some funny things, but the humor is just not what it once was. Jeff has also become really irritating.

Not a bad episode by any means, better than a lot of other comedies, but not what the show once was.moreless

  • TRIVIA (0)

  • QUOTES (7)

    • Eddie: Oh, what a relief. I have to tell you, you have no idea how hard it is for me to pretend to know what kinda crap you like.
Joy: Not as hard as it is for me to pretend to like the crap you give me!

    • Eddie: It's more than ridiculous, it's unnatural. I mean they don't celebrate anniversaries in the animal kingdom. You know how a zebra knows he had a good anniversary, he didn't get eaten.

    • Joy: Mario's is nice but we always get that waiter Giancarlo, who hits on me when you go to the bathroom.
Eddie: Giancarlo hits on me when you go to the bathroom! Huh, two-timer.

    • Eddie: Happy Just-Thursday!
Joy: And to you, my unnaturally-tall life partner.

    • Kenny: That's it! I'm gonna teach you how to swim.
Eddie: No, no, no, no. That's not gonna happen, Kenny.
Kenny: Why not? I'm an incredible swimmer. I'm the black dolphin.

    • Eddie: Yeah, you know I took the liberty of googling high school pools and they're 60% urine, 20% hair, and 5% other. And that's just not my kind of gumbo, Jackson. So I am out of here.

    • Joy: You know what? Maybe when I suggested that we take the anniversary off the table, I was trying to send you a signal. Hoping you would say absolutely not and sweep me off my feet!
Eddie: A signal? What am I, Batman?

  • NOTES (1)

    • Even though Fox is promoting this episode as the "Season Finale", there are still several episodes produced for season 2 that haven't aired yet that will air either this summer or part of the next season.

  • ALLUSIONS (2)

    • Joy: Steph drank too many mojitos and threw up on this girl's copy of Lovely Bones.

Lovely Bones is a 2002 novel by Alice Sebold about a raped-and-murdered teenage girl who continued to watch her family and friends from heaven while dealing with her own death.

    • Steph: I really enjoyed The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini.

Khaled Hosseini's The Kite Runner is a 2003 novel which tells the story of childhood friends and their growing up in war-torn Afghanistan during the Soviet invasion until the rise of the Taliban. It was made into a movie in 2007.
