The seemingly random death of Seymore at the end of this episode shows us truly how far this hotel will go to maintain the image of its superiors and of Don Everest. I didnt think Seymore was a large enough charcater that he held the show together in any way, hence I didnt mind seeing him bit the dust. Don-Dee-and Eddies storylines were greatly improved upon in this episode. Eddie finding out that Don Everest really does cheat may have been a little wake up call for him, as he was starting to think that perhaps Don was just his friend. I think the only weakness in the show right now is Miami and Clarks backstorys. They have grown boring and uninteresting, hopefully something to improve on in a future episode once they become involved with Don everest.moreless

    • Eddie: (washing his hands) You shouldn't ambush someone in the latrine, he might get the wrong impression.
(to Lee): If I was ambushing you, you wouldn't know until it was too late.

    • Eddie: The best in the game will tell you; If you want to win in , don't play against the best. There's no use being the 8th-most skilled player in the world if the other seven guys at the table are the ones that are better than you. You pick the wrong opponent, you can't win. That's why game selection is so important. In a non-tournament situation, you gotta choose your competition as carefully as the cards you play.

    • Matador (to Eddie): You know, no man really likes to think about the idea of his daughter getting pounded. But if it's gotta be somebody, it might as well be you.
      Eddie: Uh, thanks. I guess.

    • Matador (to Dee about her sleeping with Eddie): Well, I certainly hope there is enough of him left over, because I'm going to need him later.
