Napoleon the Conquered / Confucius Say... Way Too Much
AIRED:
Napoleon the Conquered: It's a mission to Napoleon, the conqueror. Tuddrussel upsets him, and they almost get their heads cut off. (When it comes to Larry, the word "almost" just doesn't fit!) Suddenly his wife comes along and drags him home! Can Time Squad help him get away to conquer again, away from his husband-conquering wife? Confucius Say... Way Too Much: Confucius was famous for coming up with short phrases. "Short phrases?" any one of the three Time Squad members might say. "You've got to be kidding!" And it's true! • TRIVIA (2)

    • In Napoleon the Conquered, Josephine accompanies Napoleon to Waterloo BUT, by the time of the Battle of Waterloo, Napoleon had already dumped Josephine and married Princess Marie-Louise of Austria.

    • In "Napoleon the Conquered", watch the number of babies in Larry's hands. In the scene where Napoleon, Otto, and Tuddrussel stick Larry with the kids, there are 7 babies total (3 in Tuddrussel's hands, two in Napoleon's hands, one in Otto's hands, and one in Larry's hands). After the scene where Napoleon, Tuddrussel, and Otto are washing dishes and the camera pans away from a close-up shot of Larry, there are nine babies (three in the bassinet to Larry's left, three crawling around, and three in another bassinet to the right). After Josephine leaves for cooking class a couple of scenes later, there are six babies around Larry (one standing up, two crawling around, and three in a stroller).

  • QUOTES (6)

    • Larry: (about Confucius' book) I've seen dictionaries with less words then that!

    • from "Napoleon the Conquered"
Larry: The babies are finaly asleep. Oh, and little Napoleon IV said his first word today: PooPoo.

    • from "Napoleon the Conquered"
Larry: Ea...Does anybody have a creset wrench?

    • from "Napoleon the Conquered"
Larry: Think of time as a section of rope.
      Tuddrussel: Boring!
Larry: Ahem. As Earth goes through time, more rope is formed. It's been recently descovered that as time grew older, it began to decay or "unravel" as it were. This desinigration of the past causes disasterous results in our future! Say that because of the instability, the doo-doo bird never becomes extinct. And a young Henry Ford is attacked by one of these filthy creatures. He is so tromitised by the experience that he never invents the assembly line or the model T. Without this primative model as a jumping-off point, we in the future are suddenly without our fansy solar-powered hover-craft. Thats why we must constintly repair the past to keep our future going strong. Thank you and good night. [Otto claps]
Tuddrussel: Go back to that rope part again. [Larry groans]

    • from "Napoleon the Conquered"
      Otto: Can I watch?
      Larry: No.
      [Otto looks annoyed]

    • from "Napoleon the Conquered"
Tuddrussel: Come on, "Proffesor". Let's go fix that time rope. Ooh.
[annoyed, Larry presses the launch button on the transporter when Tuddrussel bursts out laughing]
