The Lion King
AIRED:
A young lion prince is born in Africa, thus making his uncle Scar the second in line to the throne. Scar plots with the hyenas to kill King Mufasa and Prince Simba, thus making himself King. The King is killed and Simba is led to believe by Scar that it was his fault, and so flees the kingdom in shame. After years of exile he is persuaded to return home to overthrow the usurper and claim the kingdom as his own thus completing the "Circle of Life".moreless

    This movie was Awesome! and not to mention the first disney movie i got. (next to Pocahontas and The little mermaid).Timon and Pumbaa were so funny,Simba was one cool kitty,and the music was beautiful! my fave songs were,Can you feel the love tonight,I just can't wait to be king, and Hakuna matata ofcorse! The second movie was pretty cool too!I will remain a TLK fan 4ever! :)

    The lion King is a very Good, Funny, Exciting, and Wonderful movie. Simba,Nala,Timon, and Pumbba Were my faves. :D Simba was a bit of a How shall I put this? A kitty cat at first? But he learned that Scar was a bad king and Simba went back to the pride lands. My Favorte part was when Timon did the hula. That part was the best! Well, I don't know what else to write about this movie but it was simply a wonderful one. :) :) :) :) :)moreless

    I thought that the very first Lion King film that came out in about 1997 was very good. The song that Elton John did was very good as well. The Lion King 1 is much better than the other 2 films they did because it shows you Simba growing up. The bit where Simba Dad dies is very sad but it gets happier where Simba meets Timon & Pumba. Then Simba's girlfriend comes and tells him to go back to Pride Rock as he is going to be king. At the end Simba's new baby is born and I also the Afraican song at the start when Simba is born.moreless

      Timon and Pumbaa: (as the hyenas start chasing them) AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

    • Banzai: Man that lousy Mufasa, I won't be able ta sit for a week! (Ed starts laughing) It's not funny, Ed. (Ed bursts out laughing insanely) Hey shut up! (Ed continues to laugh. Banzai gets angry, pounces on him, and they start fighting. Shenzi sees this and gets annoyed)
      Shenzi: Will you knock it off?! (Banzai and Ed stop fighting.)
      Banzai: (pointing to Ed while Ed chomps on his own leg) Well he started it!
      Shenzi: Look at you guys! No wonder we're danglin' at the bottom of the foodchain.
      Banzai: (failing to notice drool hanging off his mouth) And I hate danglin'.
      Shenzi: Ch'yeah? Y'know, if it weren't for those lions, we'd be runnin' the joint!
      Banzai: Yeah, man I hate lions!
      Shenzi: So pushy.
      Banzai: And hairy.
      Shenzi: An' stinky.
      Banzai: An' man are they-
      Shenzi and Banzai: UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGLY! (both laugh)

    • Nala: Danger? I laugh in the face of danger! Ha! HA! HA!

    • Scar: (To Hyenas) Idiots! There will be a King!
      Banzai: But you said, uhh...
      Scar: I will be King! Stick with me, and you'll never go hungry again!

    • Pumbaa: Your majasty! I gravel at your feet.
      Simba: Stop it!
