  • I thought this episode was pretty good.

I thought this episode was pretty good, probably mostly because of the ending. The short gags were pretty good, where you learn that most everything that Max tried to pull on Buster to hurt his campaign ended up helping him instead. Poor Hamton would end up interviewing the same people all over again trying to get the answer to the story he was writing. And in the end the their was really it turned out his interviews were completely in vain. A twist gag ending with Max yelling that he had acne, and that Hamton went through all that trouble and stress over nothing.moreless

  • TRIVIA (5)

    • in the Newsreel of Buster being wrongflly expelled, somewhere in the Paper, the is a controversial sentence saying "Fighting-Mad H***'s Angels Sue Studio".

    • In one of the Newspapers, there is a news reel of "Vitello Still at Large" and Art Vitello is one of the Animator of Tiny Toons.

    • Elmyra breaks character when she hugs Hamton and calls him cute. Normally, Hamton is one of the few animals Elmyra doesn't like.

    • The "Rosebud" sled from Citizen Kane can be seen among Max's playthings. Also, during his tantrum, Max destroys a copy of Action Comics #1, which was the first appearance of Superman.

    • The basis of Montana Max and Buster Bunny being friends before the latter got rich is not really plausible. Montana Max was created as a RICH Villain in the first episode litteraly; and Buster Bunny was created with no previous knowledge of Montana Max, also litterally!
