Well, in my opinion, I think that if Tails met Calamity, maybe Tails will help Calamity perfect his inventions.

Now, now. Calm down or I will not hesitate to delete anyone's posts or even the thread itself. I'm not directing this to one person, I'm not trying to single anyone out. This is more towards anyone in the future. Okay?

I know, but I didn't see it until three days later and this has happened before. Sorry about the little confusion.

Also, I think that Calamity needs a little love, too. Heck, maybe Fifi could probably go out with him sometimes when he's not busy.

Furrball is way cooler and more versatile than Calamity! But I don't really hate Calamity.

*shrugs* I guess he doesn't really need to be paired, I just like the Fifi/Calamity pairing.

Yeah, and Calamity doesn't deserve to be treated like crud.

I like Calamity as well, and I also wish that they had used him more. But the reason they didn't is because Chuck Jones didn't really feel comfortable with all the the tiny toons, which is also why alot of other characters like Barky Marky aren't seen. Since Fifi was a girl, they didn't see as much of a problem using her. I read this in some interview with Tom Rueggar, and I wish I had saved the link but I didn't think to...

I also think that the Calamity and Fifi pairing would be cute as well. I'm not sure why, I just think they would look cute together. I think the only reason why the Fifi/Hamton pairing is popular is because it was pushed so much in the series. But you also have to realize that the most frequently used boys (good guy wise at least) were usually Buster,Plucky,Hamton, and Furball. And since Hamton was the one who always hung out with Buster and Plucky, that's probably the reason they chose him to be the "non-gag" love interest.

I still think they should have used Fifi more.

Of all the girl characters, she probably has the third amount of most appearances, next to Babs and Elmyra. Shirley was probably the girl character who was wronged the most. She only seen accompaning Babs and Fifi, or with Plucky... occasionally Fowlmouth instead. Mary Melody would be basically void from the series after the main girl characters develped.
