    • TRIVIA (2)

      • At the end everyone is shocked to find out that Babs is really a toon even though earlier in the show Variety already pointed out on their front page that she was on Tiny Toon Adventures.

      • Shirley should watch Thirteensomething in Babs' TV
and Plucky watch Football in Buster's TV instead of the gang watching Thirteensomething in Buster's TV.

    • QUOTES (3)

      • Buster: I should have never dared Babs to get on that show! I'm like Sonny without Cher. I'll probably end up the mayor of Palm Springs.
Plucky: Well far be it from me to be compassionate but uhh.. Listen you're Buster Bunny, Star of Tiny Toon Adventures, the world loves you! (speaks to the tv audience) I can't believe I'm saying this...
Shirley: (pulls Plucky off screen & next to herself) Plucky, could it be you've progressed into a higher plane of conscienceness? Could it be that you've turned into a kind, compassionate, caring duck?
Plucky: My parents are outta town for the weekend, whaddya say we play house, hmmm?
Shirley: (turns him around and kicks him) Nevermind.
Plucky: A simple 'no' woulda sufficed.

      • Plucky: Didja see Varietoon? (holds up a newspaper)
        Buster: (reading the headline) "B.B. Bye•Bye 2 T.T. 4-13" ..eh?
Plucky: ...and you call yourself a co-host! Can't even read tradese huh? Well lemme translate for the lingo impaired:
        B.B. that's 'Babs Bunny' - Bye•Bye that's 'leaves' - T.T. that's 'Tiny Toons' & 4-13 is 'for thirteensomething'. (reads it completely)
"Babs Bunny leaves Tiny Toons for thirteensomething", she did it!

      • Shirley (to Babs): So umm like, are we still on for tonight?
Plucky (to Shirley): Well let me check my appointment book, I could have another date..
Shirley (to Plucky): (Takes his book & slams it closed on his beak) Get real Pluck-face!

    • NOTES (1)

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • Thirtysomething: The title of this episode, Thirteensomething, alludes to the show Thirtysomething.

      • Mary Hart: "Elvis was spotted at a Mini-Mart in Austin! The cast of Diffrent Strokes held up Fort Knox! And MY voice causes seizures!"
The show "Entertainment Tomorrow" is of course a spoof of "Entertainment Tonight," and the host being a takeoff of Mary Hart(she's appeared in TT and Animaniacs, and had a name...either this was "Mary Hartless" or "Mary Vain." She called herself both...)

Mary states, "And MY voice causes seizures!" This is a reference to an actual incident earlier that year, where a women hearing Mary Hart's voice actually did go into a seizure from the sound of it. I was surprised to see it referenced on Tiny Toons....
