How can you deal with an obnoxious teenager who disrespects his elders and sells drugs from your garage? Titus sure knows how. “Hard Ass” is the kind of laugh-out-loud episode that makes you want to own the box set. This episode is incredibly funny. It contains some sharp comic dialogue and hilarious flashbacks of how Titus ended his pot selling ways. The ending was great. Between seeing Titus argue about the pros and cons of selling drugs and his father’s special methods of discipline, you just can’t stop laughing. Also, getting paralyzed with a stun gun is always good for a laugh.moreless

This episode is very painful to watch. The writers decided to make Amy a recurring character and her smart-ass attitude doesn't belong into the show. The other characters look stupid compared to her, and I mean really utterly stupid. I'm a big Titus fan but her appearance made most episodes less fun to watch. I'm not so interested in whether drugs are good or bad but selling them for money and getting away with it, even making up reasons for it was plain wrong. What's even worse is Erin trying to protect her family members like in another episode. Don't get me wrong, jokes are still in this but they are blurred out by the story. Without the ending they put in, the episode would have gotten an even lower score as it at least gives you the feeling something was done right.moreless
