  • I loved this episode!!!

This was a great episode! In this episode you see how much Titus cares for Amy when he tries to protect her. Tommy and Dave aren't really involved in this episode but the parts they are in are funny!!! Me and my friend are always quoting Tommy from this episode. When he yells homo this and lifts his shirt up. I laugh so hard I cry. The girl who played Amy played the part very well. You can really see the pain the girl is going through. It's funny that Titus couldn't spell the words on the bat right. The ending was surpising but nice.moreless

  • TRIVIA (1)

  • QUOTES (6)

    • Tommy: Titus, you can't do this, stop it!
Titus: Tommy, Erin's niece has been living with us for three months, it's my responsibility to protect her I'm not gonna let some bully harass her, I hate bullies.
Tommy: You're gonna beat up a kid with a bat!!!
      Titus: What's your point?

    • Titus: Hey guys, it was just a finger on the freeway, it was just the wrong finger...
Ken: Hey! You can't beat up a blind guy!
      Titus: Dad, I'm not blind.
      (Ken sprays Titus with mace)

    • Kid: Go ahead and hit me then, I'll sue you for everything!
Titus: Take a look around, There's no one around, those two are my friends, and a urinal keg can't testify in court of law!
(toilet flushes and out comes Principal Wells)
      Principal Wells: Why, Mr. Titus.
      Titus: Principal Wells.
Principal Wells: Please, please...call me "witness for the prosecution."

    • Titus: A reckless accusation can ruin a person's life--any person's like my rival, Mario Copono from Fremont, California. His life would suck if somebody went on national television and just said out loud that he prances around in women's underwear. Man, I hope that never happens to...Mario Copono of Fremont, California.

    • Titus: You come into this world defenseless. That's why God gave us baseball bats. Well, he gave us trees. But we knew what he meant.

    • Titus: My dad always protected me. Like a magnifying glass protects an ant.

  • NOTES (2)

    • Because of the fact that this episode aired much later than it intended, there are a couple of references to it in earlier episodes. In "The Session," Erin and Titus mention that Amy was molested, and in "Insanity Genetic (Part 2)" Tommy mentions that Titus once brought a baseball bat to a school to threaten a kid. Additionally, neither Titus or Erin seem to be aware that Amy is a lesbian, which is revealed in "Err."

    • Due to the very dark content of this episode, FOX held it back until the very end of the series (that it aired at all is supposedly thanks to Sandy Grushow). Had the third season showed in production order, Amy's character would have made a lot more sense. Not to mention that Erin wasn't showing as much (she is pregnant after all).
