Hooker and Ramano get the Chinatown beat. They talk about hoe it has changed and how hard it is to patrol that area. They get a call of a murdered masseuse girl. Detective O'brien thinks it's a simple murder of a client who killed her. Hooker thinks it's more than that and he calls an informant. The next day he visits the partial owner of the massage parlor. She is named Babara and she called in the murder. She ran off because she was scared. Coriigan and Stacey meet a friend of Jim's named Nikki Kwan. She tells him she does not want her name used in the case. She says there is a man named Tran Tam. She is forced to keep a man of his on her payroll. Later that night Barbara is at the hospital after she was beaten up by two men that she saw that night of the murder. Hooker asks her to place Romano and Stacey in the parlor. She resists but then she says ok. We cut to the crime mob guys Tram Tam and Nguyen Chi talking. Nguyen tells Tram to forget about Barbara's massage parlor and move on. Tram wants to keep trying. Hooker and Corrigan are outside the massage parlor as Romano is taking Barbara out. A hit team shoots her dead. Hooker and Corrigan chase them down and catch them. They both won't talk, but Hooker figures they are Tram's men. Stacey and Vince want to stay undercover even though Barbara is dead. Hooker ok's it because it is important. A man named R.K. "Blood" Henderson comes in the parlor. Hooker had a run in with him earlier at the parlor. Blood wants to make it with Stacey. Hooker and Corrigan call her out so she can get away. When they get back Romano is forced to take another girl out. Blood grabs her and pulls her wire. He takes her away in his car. Hooker and Corrigan bust in the parlor and they are too late. Blood takes her to a wherehouse. They find out that Jim's friend Nikki is the leak that got Stacey caught. Jim and Hooker go to Niiki to find out where Stacey is. She says they are at Tram Tam's wherehouse. The bad guys release a Cobra snake to kill Stacey and they are caught by the police as they are leaving. Hooker runs into the wherehouse and shoots the snake right before it bites her. The massage parlor girls decide to go to Vegas to go to beauty school and become Cosmotologists. Ramano is offered to call one of the girls of he is ever in Vegas. Corrigan is sad that he has lost a friend in Nikki. She changed her phones numbers. An excellent episode with two of my favorite asian actors(Clyde Kusatsu & Soon Teck Oh). I would have liked to see them on the good guy side, but it is nice to see them. This also has the famous scene where Hooker shoots the cobra before it can strike Stacey.moreless
