Two guys drive up in a truck behind a fur wherehouse. One of the models lets them in. They rob the pwners of the furs. Hooker and Romano are close by as they hear shots fired. They take their accomplice as a hostage. Romano recognizes her as Amy Robbins, an old girlfriend of his. Hooker tells him to call in backup. Hooker jumps onto the getaway truck. They decide to throw Amy off. Hooker grabs her and they both jump into some cardboard boxes. Hooker talks with the owner of the furs Maria Santini. She says they did not have them insured. Her husband Louie was shot, but he will be ok. Romano wants to start over with Amy and she holds back. Romano sees Stacey at the station in a new pair of $60 jeans. He tells her he can get the same jeans for $12 without the designer label. She agrees to get a pair and then we see a nice shot of her cute butt walking away. Romano calls it a perfect 10. Later Amy goes to see the head man of the fur ring, Harry Cort. He tells her she is in as deep as they are. Harry tells her to use Romano to get information about the security system where they want to hit next. Hooker talks to a snitch named Wendell that found the abandoned truck. He says he will help. The next day Amy brings lunch to the station. Hooker starts to suspect she is pouring it on too hard. Hooker quaestions Romano about what they talk about and if she had been any help with the case. Romano gets a little defensive about the questions. Stacey's new jeans rip and Romano ends up getting a Wok as a replacement. He is afraid to tell Stacey about it. Hooker brings Maria a list of names and photos of people that could be involved in the robbery. She only recognizes the name Harry Cort. He supplied them Amy as a model. Hooker now knows that she is involved. He confronts Romano with the information and he hits Hooker. Harry Cort sets up one more robbery so he can go into the business straight. He must go along because there is not anyone else. Hooker and Romano go to see Amy at the same time of the robbery. They catch the guys in the act and Romano must arrest Amy as well. Romano then tells Hooker they must settle the argument they had when he hit Hooker. Hooker lighlty taps Romano on the chin. Another good episode. Always good to see Thom Christopher in a role. Loved him when he played Hawk on Buck Rogers.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • When Hooker and Romano are talking to Stacy about her pants, Romano's T-Shirt reads "ASST" over "TRAINING INSTRUCTOR." When they walk into the station house, his shirt no longer has "ASST" on it.

    • Refusing to believe the truth about Amy, Romano punches Hooker in the jaw (which leaves Hooker with a trail of blood out of his mouth in literally a split-second!). But after the punch in following scenes, Hooker doesn't even have a bruise!

  • QUOTES (3)

    • Romano: Hooker!
      Hooker: I'm glad you're here. Let's roll.
Romano: About what happened... we have to talk.
Hooker: Romano, believe me, I know what you're going through. And we'll have that talk, the kind partners should have. Right now we've got a job to do.

    • Romano: I just wanted to give her some room.
Hooker: Well, that's the point. She needed the room! Behind those high cheekbones, there's a little girl from Idaho...
      Romano: Iowa.
Hooker: ...Iowa. She's chasing a rainbow, Junior. And she's in the kind of business where the right guy can lead her to a pot of gold. All you can offer her is love and happiness.

    • Hooker: You got Stacy an electric wok. How could you?
Romano: Well, Dooley gave me a choice of what he's selling right now. It was either maternity clothes or an electric wok! And I know she's not pregnant.
Hooker: That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
