I don't believe that is legally binding, he should probably have signed it instead.

    Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter

According to a source, Sting is "expected to be gone" from TNA Wrestling following this week's set of television tapings, which were completed yesterday in Orlando, Florida.

The multi-time champion is limited by an injury to his shoulder and has not signed a new contract, so he's only committed to the organization until the end of the year. There was talk this week that he would be taking time off from this point forward.

Might as well bump this for when Matt Hardy signs with them.

That would be even bigger than Hogan and Flair arriving at TNA.

    Update on Team 3D:

    Mike Johnson of PWinsider wrote:
TNA sources confirmed this week that Team 3D signed for new multi-year deals last week. Internally, they expected the team to sign and remain with the company, although there was communication between 3D and WWE with the idea that 3D could be brought in to revamp the company's tag team division.

I am told by WWE sources that there was also interest in hiring Brother Ray as a producer down the line, if and when he opts to retire. Ray has been working as an agent in TNA in recent years. There was also talk regarding how WWE could use Team 3D's Wrestling Academy in Florida to help train some of the newer developmental talents, although I can't confirm how far along those conversations went.

I am told Dixie Carter was a huge proponent in signing 3D to their new TNA deals.

Eric Young's TNA contract is coming up and I'm told he has been asked to take a 50% pay cut. Sources close to Young tell me Young realizes he has nowhere else to go and will probably re-sign with TNA Wrestling.

    This is awesome.

Aw, so sad that he has nowhere else to go.

The other overblown contracted people should take a paycut too.

It's not bad enough to stick him in a dead-end team with Orlando or screw him with a mental person gimmick? Now a 50% pay cut? Way to kick a TNAoriginal right in the *ss.Man, I feel for EY. I agree with Telvis, take the cuts from the old guys who don't need it.

-Word from numerous sources is that TNA Wrestling is currently in the process of pursuing former WWE Diva Serena to sign a contract with the organization. As of this report, she has yet to express any interest in doing so.

she was good before she went to the WWE and other reports were saying that she was going to to TNA first, but for some reason they stopped talks with her.

    :

Over the course of the past couple of days, we have learned that Total Nonstop Action Wrestling might be going through a bit of a transition period when it comes to the main roster of the company and possibly eliminating a lot of the dead weight still remaining on the roster that is very sparingly used.

Yesterday, we reported that Rhino and Eric Young are both working on expiring contracts, and it is very unclear whether or not the two will remain in the company moving forward into 2011. It was also reported yesterday that Sabu, as well as many other former ECW originals could also be phased out in the near future.

However, today comes news that two other members of the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling roster could be on the way out, and the names will not be surprising due to how much they have been utilized recently in the promotion.

According to a report from PWInsider, the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling contracts for both Knockout competitor Daffney and former TNA X-Division Champion The Amazing Red are set to expire in the next couple of months and neither of the performers have yet to be offered either one a new deal.

Amazing Red was considered a great young in-ring talent in the promotion as an integral member of their X-Division, and outside of a short TNA X-Division Championship title reign during a series of live event house shows for the company, Red has been rarely used on TNA iMPACT! television since the arrival of the power regime consisting of "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff.

Daffney was also thought of as a bright spot in the Knockouts division earlier this year, playing a big role in storylines involving The Beautiful People but since suffering an injury to former Total Nonstop Action Wrestling performer, Rosie Lottalove, she has also been barely seen on TNA programming. Reports surfaced earlier that she was in the doghouse a bit due to bad performances at recent events.

It also doesn't help matters for Daffney with TNA's recent acquisition of former World Wrestling Entertainment Diva Mickey James and the return of former TNA Knockouts Champion Tara to the company in recent months. Not to mention the recent pushes of Madison Rayne and Sarita.

Although it wouldn't seem that World Wrestling Entertainment would have much interest, if any at all, of either worker; it should not be hard for either of the performers to find work on the independent professional wrestling scene if they are indeed done with the company once their contracts are up.

-Such a shame. The X-Division has taken a back seat, which was their bread and butter for years.

    - F4Wonline.com reports that Eric Young has turned down a contract to return to TNA Wrestling and has departed from the company. Young who has been with TNA since January of 2004 reportedly was offered a deal substantially worse then his current contract and refused to resign. Young is expected to explore other options outside of TNA for the foreseeable future.

    No more Raven.

Raven was written out of TNA Wrestling storylines as a result of a loss to Jeff Hardy that will air on next week's episode of iMPACT!. It was stipulated that if Raven lost to the World Heavyweight Champion, he would be fired.

Hulk Hogan publicly fired him following the loss, saying, "Raven, you are fired, quote the Hulkster, Nevermore."

Raven is legitimately parting ways with the organization.

Eric Young should have been fired 2-3 years ago. But better lat than never.
