  • Very hit and miss - some great, some bad...

Genesis was very hit and miss - it began with a seemingly pointless show of patriotism, followed by a largely boring bout between Abyss and Black Reign, only intriguing for the debut of Johnny The Bull.

It was good of TNA to give the MCMG/Team 3D match so much time, and whilst it probably was a little too long, the finish was excellent. One of the better matches on the card.

Quite predictably, the women's match was an interminable bore, but Lethal vs Dutt was undoubtedly match of the night.

Christian Coalition vs Steiners didn't incite much joy, nor Joe vs Roode, although Ms. Brooks fainting was interesting.

Kaz vs Cage was a decent Ladder bout, but they could have done far more with the ladder than they did. It's great Kaz won, and for Christian's sake, he still hasn't been pinned in TNA.

We all knew Booker T was coming to TNA here, although seeing Sharmell join him at the end was a pleasant surprise. Having Booker and Sting lose was refreshing for a wrestler's debut match, and it was great to see Nash wrestling again.

Overall, not a bad event, but there were some hugely boring matches here and there, and few great matches, mostly merely "good" ones.moreless
