  • Although it is pretty much your standard action anime this is really very good and well worth a look.

The story takes place in an alternate world where advanced science and technologyhave allowed ordinary people to develope supernatural powers, these powers are ranked from 1 to 5 (5 being the highest). However there is one person Touma Kamijo who is ranked as level 0. This is because he has a cursed right hand known as the imagine breaker which dispells any special abilities however it also dispells all good luck which means Touma leads a very unfortunate life.

One day Touma encounters a strange nun (known as Index) and is introduced to the world of magic and he soon discovers that his imagine breaker works just as well on majic as it does on psychic powers. Thus begins the strange journey of Touma and Index.

This is as I have said pretty much your standard action anime with lots of fights and build up to fights but the animation is superb and the characters are really well thought out which makes it stand out from the other animes of its type. All in all well above average and well worth a look.moreless
