Tom and Jerry: How can anyone like Jerry ?

I do not mean to offend anyone or anything , this is just an honest question How can anyone like jerry ? , I find him annoying , sometimes Tom isn't even doing anything EG "the two mousketeers" , "the zoot cat" and jerry just goes alond and ruins Toms life anyway , the end of "the zoot cat" just made me want to strangle Jerry to death

I don't think he won in Fraidy Cat... he was beaten up by Mammy(Is that her name? ,I don't know) which is preety enough for Jerry to win in almost every episode...
I personally don't like Jerry in those kind of episodes when Mammy or dog forbid Tom doing something and Jerry is doing all those stuffs

That is true. In some episodes, Jerry can be such a bully too.

In one episode, Jerry and Nibbles got Tom beheaded off screen at the end. The King was ticked off at Tom for waking him up, but it was all Jerry and Nibble's fault. What made me really upset was the fact that they had smiles on their faces when Tom was killed. As a kid, it almost made me cry. Tom maybe a bully, but he didn't deserve that.

I'm not flaming Jerry, btw. I'm just being honest. I still love Jerry, but that episode was really messed up.

I hated jerry when i was a kid me and my dad said i had to be tom while my little brother had to be jerry. It was traumatizing.

I also thought Tom beat up on Jerry a lot in The Cat Concerto as well.

Yea unlike other cartoon characters such as roadrunner vs wil E. coyote, you really feel bad for Tom and at some times really want something bad to happen to Jerry and it brings a smile when it does.

Yes, but Tom was frequently just as much of a bully. In many shorts Spike isn't bothering him; Tom is often the instigator, teasing or even hitting the dog. His fights with Butch, the black cat, were more believable because male cats tend to fight over territory, females, and food.

Jerry's not that bad. I'll admit, though, he can be mean to Tom. In some of the episodes, Tom didn't do anything.

I like Jerry because he is great and he is not mean.Although in some episodes I did feel bad for Tom.But Jerry only does things to Tom because Tom wants to catch him and possibly eat him.How would you like it if you were a mouse with a cat after you?

I don't know why anyone thinks Jerry cute I have had mice in my house and it's definitely not cute or adorable when they eat your food, chew through your clothing or leave droppings on your floor. Rodents are vermin, freeloaders that live off your food shelter there practically parasites plus the carry all short nasty diseases ( rodents cause the black plague to happen), so I have no idea why people feel the need to cheer on the mouse. Tom is only doing his job if didn't chase Jerry he'd be kicked out of the house. How can anyone like Jerry have any you seen how much that one little mouse eats I surprise that the hole household doesn't die of hunger due that one mouse consumption.
