Her grammar errors make her racist in some people's opinion. For example, her saying "O-W-T... Out!" in Puss Gets the Boot.

In the UK nurserys arent allowed to tell the story of jack and the beanstalk because the giant says fee fii fo fum i smell the blood of an englishment. The government here are so dumb. They can stop fairy tales but the cant stop english policemen to shoot asians in the head because they have a big rucksack.

Are you sure that's how she spelled "out"?

In the uncut version, she does indeed spell it "O-W-T", and also "O-U-W-T". In the (ahem) POLITICALLY CORRECT version, she spells it correctly.

The first one is "Mouse Cleaning." A scene was removed where Tom appeared in black face and spoke in a racist voice to Mammy Two-Shoes. Mammy asked Tom if he had seen a "no-good cat around here. "Tom said, "No ma'am, I ain't seen no cat around here, uh-uh. There ain't no cat-no place, no how, no ma'am!".

The cannibalism episode is "His Mouse Friday." It was banned for stereotypical dialogue, the fact that the cannibals appeared African, and the fact that Jerry dressed up in black face for most of the episode to fool Tom into thinking that he was a cannibal.

Partly due to her apperance, and partly due her grammar.I think she was based of Hattie McDaniel's Mammy charcter from Gone with the Wind, and she was retired in part due to Hattie's death in the late 1950s. Also possibly, the NAACP could had steped in during the 1950s and asked MGM to discontuiined the use of the character as well.
