Show Summary

Too Close for Comfort (2004) is a home improvement series that originally aired on October 21, 2004 on BBC1, a television network in the United Kingdom. The series consists of six thirty-minute episodes broadcast weekly on Thursday at 8:30 pm. It deals with making changes to houses, generally with the goal of increasing the available living space. Each episode focuses on a specific house and is hosted by architect John Weir and advice columnist Anna Raeburn. Weir provides recommendations on making the renovations while Raeburn offers advice on dealing with the stress of living in crowded conditions. The house in the series opener belongs to a single mother who works 12 hours per day and is currently sleeping on her sofa to give each of her children their own bedroom. It may be necessary to build a new room to give the mother some needed peace and privacy. The director for the series is Paul Tucker and the producer is Annie Heather.
