Goof: Early in the episode, Top Cat, Benny, Choo Choo, Fancy and Brain are seen blending into the Visit Canada billboard to hide from Officer Dibble. However, Brain wasn't in the first scene with the others.
Running Gag: Choo-Choo trying to commit suicide.
Goof: Right before a scene change Top Cat is holding his hat congratulating the new member of their gang ("the baby"), TC's hat mysteriously appears on his head and he's still holding his hat in his hand.
Fred and Barney from The Flintstones make a cameo appearance as statues in the museum.
Goof: When Top Cat and the gang are sneaking up to the hideout, Top Cat's tail turns purple.
This is the first episode about Choo Choo's love problems.
Goof: Near the end of the episode, the top hat that T.C. is wearing keeps on changing from dark purple to a lighter purple.
When we first see Charlie the cab driver near the beginning of the episode, he has dot eyes. However, when he is seen again at the end of the episode, he has white eyes with pupils.
Goof: When we see Top Cat getting ready to go back to the hospital (wanting to go on a date with Nurse LaRue), he fiddles around with his vest. If you look close enough, it'll look like he's wearing a second vest underneath.
The dog sets a bomb on a piano note. When Benny plays "Strolling Through The Park", he plays the wrong note. The dog steps in, plays the right note & gets exploded!
This gag was used three times on Warner Brothers cartoons, except the song was "Believe Me If All Those Endearing Young Charms".
Top Cat takes place in New York City yet when T C barks out orders to the gang to get him what he needs to enter the mansion ground's he tells Fancy to get him some gun powder from the freeway construction site. There are no freeways, a West Coast term anywhere near NYC.
The plot of this episode is very similar to the movie "Top Cat and the Beverly Hills Cats"
When Top Cat is talking to Benny near the beginning, there is a sign on the fence behind Top Cat saying "circus" but it disappears after Benny leaves and shows a wide shot of Top Cat and the fence but then it returns afterwards.
We learn that Benny can play the harmonica.
When officer Dibble is talking to the old woman, his club is much thinner than usual.
When Fancy is telling TC where Benny went, his voice changes to Choo-Choo's voice.
When Spook is telling TC about his job, his voice breifly changes to Fancy Fancy's voice.
At one part, the pink obi that Top Cat is wearing is missing.
Fancy's voice is used in place of Spook's when TC is telling him about officer Dibble's chocolate pudding.
