      • Marcus: 'War' spelled backwards is 'raw', so that's my theme, as close to raw foods as possible. That's what I'm going to do tomorrow.

    • NOTES (1)

      • Several of the Chefs have inaccurate conceptions of their Gods.

Rick sees Hades as being the Devil, whereas the Greek God was dark and dour in personality, but not associated with evil, but rather judgment, and balance, as well as wealth (since precious metals and stones all come from under the earth).

Jonathan envisions Poseidon rising from the ocean in a scallop shell, but this is actually something that was linked with the Goddess Aphrodite, with the Botticelli painting nicknamed "Venus on the Half Shell" being the most widely known expression of this idea. Poseidon is associated with horses and earthquakes, as well as being lord of the seas.

Susan puts on an ivy wreath to get herself into the mood of Aphrodite, but ivy was asociated with the God Dionysus. Myrtle would have been the appropiate greenery for Aphrodite.
