The Quickfire challenge was hysterical. A blind taste test. See how many you can identify. Wow. As usual, the person who thought he lost was the winner.
The Elimination challenge was to make a buffet without touching anything. There were former competitors of Top Chef to act as sous chefs. Teams were chosen. Dale yelled at Michael. Michael ignored him. Yeah, Dale has always been a blowhard. Why would Bravo even think of having that loser back?
More changes - 30 minutes to go, the location was changed to a hot rooftop. Still more - at the last minute, they had to lose one of their helpers. In the end, Hubert and Rick were top dogs. However, the judges absolutely swooned over the Frenchman's dishes and he won the week. Michael's dishes were less than stellar. Anita had trouble with her raw bar and ended up going home.
It was sad. All the competitors were great chefs and it is unfortunate when they cannot perform up to the challenge of the show. Anita and Art both won before and now they are gone. Michael won and was almost eliminated this week.
The finals look amazing, but I am sorry to see this show go. I hope there will be a season two.
