Global knives?

    Anyone know what's up with all the Global knives in the show? I love the brand...but they aren't listed in the sponsorship and I don't think you even see the Global logo.

    Maybe the producers just liked the "look" of them or something...

    Never mind... saw Global in the credits with Episode 4. Poor Candice thou she wasn't skilled I wanted Steven to get his ass booted!

    My quess is that Steven won't be around much longer. His nice presentations and knowledge of wines isn't going to get him much further.

    nice presentations? did u see the microwave challenge where he went on and on about his dish? OMG he is annoying...nice presentation? he has to learn to KNOW HIS AUDIANCE!

    lol I understand, I agree this last challenge his presentation is terrible. But he thinks he is always "above" his audience and that he can educate them on his "fancy" food. I can't stand him at all...that damn smirk of his.

    As a working Chef I can tell you that, atleast in my opinion anyway, Global knives suck. They are over priced, and, although the metal handles are esthetically nice, can be very dangerous when using them if your hands are wet. When working in a kitchen, your hands are always wet for one reason or another, so the lack of grips on the handle is just an accedent waiting to happen.

    Did you also notice that Masterpiece barbeque sause is also mentioned a lot. And the little Kenmore commercial that comes on sometimes.
